Basic Job Description

Agents are required to have excellent verbal/written communication skills. They must have the ability to independently identify and resolve customer's pre-sales inquiries and technical post-sales issues or product problems


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Strong Communications Skills to talk with customers by phone concerning products
  • Consistently represent the company in a professional and courteous manner
  • Possess excellent computer skills, intimate knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
  • Minimum Keyboard Typing Speed : 40 WPM
  • Provide first line technical support to service owner's equipment
  • Determine if a caller needs to be elevated to another level within the group and route calls appropriately
  • Use a script to provide consistency in responding to customer
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of product lines along with reliance on a script or knowledge base as necessary
  • Enter accurate and complete customer information in data capture tools


Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Qualification/Requirements:

. Must have a high school diploma or GED
. Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manual
. Ability to calculate figures and amounts
. Ability to interpret technical instructions
. Excellent communication skills
. Good grammar, voice and diction
. Basic computer and keyboarding skills
